Stage 3 Public Consultation ran for 12 weeks, ending on Friday 29th March 2019. Campsea Ashe PC completed a response which was approved at the PC meeting on March 18 and a copy is provided here.
Stage 4 was a briefer period in late 2019 and the PC response was similar particularly responding to comments made relevant to our earlier concerns. A copy is provided here.
EDF requested and received a DCO in 2020. Campsea Ashe PC registered as an interested party and the representation was approved at the PC meeting on September 21st. This is a development of comments made in previous consultations considering EDF's responses to those comments and in consultation with other local PCs. It is attached here.
EDF requested a further consultation period for proposed changes to their DCO application for SZC. This ran from 18 November to 18 December 2020. Particular changes that have an impact on the village are increased night running of trains to/from SZC and changes to the southern P&R. The aim of EDF in this consultation is to reduce concerns about HGV use along the A12 corridor and wider area in Suffolk. A copy of the response of Campsea Ashe PC to this consultation is provided here.
